100 Day Challenge – Pt. 2

A recap of the days 11-20 of the Vibrant Badass 100 adventure. Let me know how you are doing with the prompts so far! Eighty more days to go! Excited to see all the adventures we can share over the next few months!

Day 11 – Sit on a park bench. Sit and relax. Find a park with a bench and chill.

Day 12 – Start reading a book. Any book you want! Put on a timer for 20-30 minutes and sit down to read the book you want to start. It can be something that has been sitting in your TBR (to be read) pile for a while or a book you have recently acquired. You could also get books from the library or a local book store!

Day 13 – Cuddle puddle. Get real cozy. Take some time to lounge around and relax. In my family we call it a cuddle puddle when everyone in the house is on the couch – me, my husband, our dog and our cat. Cuddle puddles can look different for you but the key thing is coziness. Level up this experience with things like fuzzy socks and a soft robe.

Cheers to relaxation and coziness during this winter season!

Day 14 – Write a list of 100 gratitudes. All the thankful vibes. You can get real specific on your list to get to 100. You can also crowdsource from the people around you and collectively get the list up to 100. I’m thankful for everyone following along with Vibrant Badass 100! Cheers to an amazing day with friends and family.

Day 15 – Get creative with your food. Lots of ways to do this. Food is one of the best things in life so you might as well make it interesting. Take a recipe and add your own flare to it. Start with a boxed dish and jazz it up. Make your own dipping sauce by combining a few you have in the fridge. Find something fun to do with leftovers!

My husband inspired this day for VB100 because he does this all the time but specifically he substituted iced coffee and creamer for water in a waffle mix and added bacon to the batter as well. Excited to hear how y’all get creative with food for this challenge!

Day 16 – Keep the stereo pumping and dance. Put on your favorite song. Move your body. This will take about 3 minutes to complete and boost your mood for the whole day. There are so many benefits to dancing like increased endorphins and self-esteem as well as the physical aspect of moving your body. Tell me what songs get you dancing today!

Day 17 – Tackle the area of your home that piles up. Pick one. This could be places like the junk drawer, mail area, hall closet, or laundry room. Wherever gets cluttered and starts to bother you. Select where you want to focus and set a timer for yourself. You got this!

Day 18 – Pause before an impulse purchase. Add to cart. Then wait a few hours before checking out. If you come back to it and still want all the things in your cart, go for it. Be intentional with how you spend your money this season. It’s easy to get caught up in the hype of sales and limited time deals but make sure you really want what you are buying.

Day 19 – Go somewhere that brings you joy. Anywhere you want. So many directions you can take this one. It can be your favorite spot in your house or neighborhood. It can be a restaurant with great food. Or maybe a friend’s house. Or a serene spot in nature. Any place that gives you that wonderful feeling of joy.

For me one of those places is McKay’s bookstore. There is one in Nashville that I loved and I recently found out there are McKay’s in Greensboro and Winston-Salem! My husband and I stopped on the way to a mountain trip a couple weeks ago!

Day 20 – Eat your favorite fast food. Get that meal you love and enjoy it from whatever spot is your fave. I love Taco Bell from time to time, especially a beef chalupa supreme!

Cheers to 20 days down!
