My favorite is 6AM City which covers dozens of cities with daily newsletters and is one of my main sources of information. TBAY today gives me so much intel on happenings in the area. There are chapters for Nashville, Madison, Raleigh and so many more cities!

Eventbrite has a mix of free and ticketed events happening in the area. You can search for yoga to find different yoga options like puppy yoga or yoga on the beach. You can also follow hosts on Eventbrite to get notifications when new events are created.
Join Offline to discover new restaurants and attend food events. Right now this is only in Raleigh, Charlotte, Nashville and Tampa! You get two restaurant discounts each month that you have to use in that month so it pushes you to use them. You can use my referral link for a free month.

Pick up magazines + coupon books when you see them. This might feel tourist-y but tourist-y things can be fun too! You can find
Find Facebook groups or Meetup groups that align with your interests. Facebook also has a lot of event postings. There are age related groups, specific hobby groups or area related groups.
Join a book club to discuss books and meet new friends. You can find book clubs through books stores or social media.

Check venue websites for upcoming performances. Scroll through the event calendar and see if any artists you like are coming to your city or even find new artists to see.
Find festivals + markets in your city. Most markets are consistent like 1st Sunday of the month or something like that. Many cities have annual festivals that happen at the same time every year.

Sports team theme nights. Go to games for your local sports teams and sometimes there are theme nights or special events like a summer concert series.
Let yourself wander around the city without an agenda and see what you find.
Check out restaurant websites for special events like chef dinners or pop up collaborations. You could also do this for museums, aquariums or theme parks for after hours events.

Plan your own events and invite friends to join. Say yes when friends invite you to do things.
If you are in Nashville, Madison, Raleigh or Tampa, I can give you specific accounts. If you are in other cities, I can do some research and help you out! Follow your interests and see what you find. Don’t be afraid to try new things to find out if you enjoy them.
Cheers to all your future fun!
