In June I wanted to try new restaurants and meet some new people. I did that by planning some restaurant meetups for dinner, brunch and hangs. A few did end up getting canceled and I realized 10 events in a month was a little too ambitious for my planning capacity. The events that did happen were so fun and full of laughter and incredible food. Here is a summary of the month!
Mulino Italian Kitchen Dinner
A beautiful outdoor space with a pool at the center. Yummy Italian dishes and great cocktails.

Transfer Co. Food Hall Lunch
Huge space with tons of food and drink options. I went for a crab roll and red bull from Locals Oyster Bar.

Brewery Bhavana Brunch
There isn’t a real brunch menu but we went on a Sunday for lunch. Everything on the table was enjoyed by everyone. We got espresso martinis that were perfect. Between the four of us we tried egg rolls, bao, dumplings, eggplant pagoda and lo mein. Absolutely love the spot and decor within the space but got so distracted with the food that I forgot to take more pictures

Wye Hill Brunch
A beautiful patio spot overlooking the city. I’m obsessed with the Clear Eyes, Can’t Lose cocktail which is a secret concoction with over 19 ingredients that tastes like magic. We shared the dill pickle pimento cheese amongst the group but then all go different entrees. I did the restaurant week special that included breakfast taquitos and a croque madame sandwich.

Raleigh Beer Garden Meetup
Instead of a sit down reservation experience this was a casual hang where anyone could come and hang out throughout the night. Despite the hot summer weather, we hung out on the patio.

Vidrio Dinner
The inside of this restaurant looks like an art museum. I LOVED this restaurant and can’t wait to go back. We tried cornbread, octopus, carrots, fish, grilled romaine salad, beef skewers, and homemade pasta.

Mandolin Brunch
Everyone at the table cleaned their plates at this restaurant. We drank mimosas and all ordered different brunch dishes and loved everything. This spot if the definition of farm to table with most of the ingredients coming from the restaurants farm and even the decor of beautiful flower vases is from the farm.

Other spots I went in June!

Cheers to checking more places off my Raleigh list in the future!
