100 Day Challenge – Pt. 8

Part 8 out of 10 of Vibrant Badass 100!! See below for 71-80! 80 days down, 20 days left!

Day 71– Make a travel bucket list. See the world. Write down all the places you want to go in your lifetime. Share your lists with me! Anywhere within the US and in other countries.

Day 72 – Do something you’ve never done before. Big or small. Our brains thrive on novelty and seeking out new experiences leads to a happier, healthier life. What’s something new you can do today? For me that was ripping up the old carpet on our stairs to get ready for new carpet.

Day 73 – Make a tiktok or reel dance video. When I asked my mom if she would help me with one of the challenge days, she knew what she wanted to do – tell people to make a dance video. She loves all the dances on Tiktok and Instagram Reels. The next time I see her, we will be making one together. My mom did this herself with a dance to “She’s A Lady” by Tom Jones. If you make a video, be sure to tag Vibrant Badass so I can see it!

Day 74 – Hit up happy hour. Find some good food and good drinks for great prices! Check out a new spot or go to one of your faves. 

Day 75 – Embrace discomfort. Do something that pushes your comfort zone a little in a positive way. For this challenge my husband and I jumped into the cold Gulf Coast water and stayed in for a few minutes. Crazy adrenaline rush to get the day started.

Day 76 – Go on a road trip. This can be a quick day trip or a bigger one a few states away. Make a fun playlist and jam out. Stop to get some snacks along the way and don’t stress if you hit some traffic. Tell me your favorite road trip memories!

Day 77 – Move your body for 10 minutes. Pick your favorite way to move your body and do it for 10 minutes. This challenge came from my friend Emily in Madison, WI who is a positive influence in the fitness realm as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor! She believes that all movement that feels good for your body is good movement. You can try hiking, biking, stretching, running, walking or a fitness class. 

Day 78 – Go somewhere that makes you happy. Find your place. This can be any physical space that brings you joy! For me, this was a stop at Buc-ee’s in South Carolina on a road trip. I grew up where the gas station chain started and was so stoked to have one along our route! Tell me where your happy place is and when you get to go to it!

Day 79 – Say yes (or no). Whichever is more challenging for you.

If you generally decline invitations, say yes to one of them! You never know how much fun you can have unless you open yourself up to the possibilities.

If you say yes to everything to the point if getting overwhelmed, say no to something even if it is uncomfortable. And you don’t have to have an excuse – no is a full sentence.

Day 80 – Soak up some Vitamin D.  Get in some sunshine wherever you are. In the winter it can be hard to want to go outside but the sunlight is really good for you!
